I encountered a sub-adult mountain lion standing in the middle of Vineyard Trail, downslope from Plum Tree Trail. The lion had adult coloration: warm brown, unspotted fur and black markings on tail and muzzle; but was distinctly smaller than the two adults I have seen in the Mt. Tam area in the past 20 years.

Saw tail of mountain lion as it disappeared over the edge of trail - tail was straight up about 1 1/2 to 2 feet above the abundant weed growth and about the size of a fist in diameter. On Diamond View trail between Blackstone Ct. and the sedimentation pond - but very close to Blackstone.

Neighbors dog barking at 4am. Lion sighted in back yard. Jumped the fence and went up the hill

Saw the animal twice clearly after seeing fresh scar on trail. Animal was walking along the dipsea trail.

sheep was attacked by a mountain lion just after 5:30pm at UC Elkus Ranch. a staff member witnessed the attack and scared the mountain lion away. they had to put the sheep down.

Coming home by car, near Frenchtown Dobbins road off of Marysville road. Very large mnt lion crossed the rd. in front of the car 30ft from the car. I alerted some neighbors where I live. (8:15 pm)

Puma deceased, body lying halfway into the leftmost lane on 280 Northbound just a mile before the 92 Junction. I stopped on the left side divide and dragged its body fully into the divide to avoid collision with cars. Seemed to not be more than 1 or 2 hours dead.

Pulled into the driveway to drop off a passenger and the mountain lion was staring into the property window. It left when it saw the headlights. It was brown and about the size of a Great Dane

My husband got on northbound 280 at Edgewood road about 7:55 am. He saw two Caltrans trucks along the shoulder of the freeway, and the large puma on the ground between them. In case Caldrons hadn't notified you, I wanted to pass along the information. He would be happy to pass along any other details. We have seen one puma around our San Carlos neighborhood, and were thrilled it have it here. Heartbroken about the death of one.

Mountain lion attacked and killed a deer in my yard. Ate most of the torso, left the carcass. I saw the cat from less than 10 feet away as he was killing the deer. It initially left after I saw it, but then returned later to eat the deer.

We saw a mountain lion cub about the size of a large dog chasing a rabbit that came right in front of us with the cub a second later. Very unusual spot to see it as it is around a very densely populated area

As we departed from the Grass Valley trail to cut across to the creek that leads you to the Brandon trail there were cows in the meadow. We stopped to listen to the frogs. I heard something and looked towards the trees on my left and afar I saw a tall cat like animal crossing btwn the trees. I waited and then I saw it again. Then I told my husband(who didn't believe me) and then we waited again and I saw it again and showed him. He agreed it didn't look like a dog or a cow and it looked like a mountain lion. We turned and came back the way we came instead of walking closer to it.

Seen curled up under my deck 5 feet from where I was walking. It stood up and loped off around the side of my cottage. Three weeks prior, it killed my cat about 50 feet from where I was sitting.
