Big cat walked on hen house roof, breaking acrylic panels, panicked at a car starting and blasted through a dog wire fence to leave property.

I saw a mountain lion run away from me. it was carrying a cub between its jaws.

Saw a juvenile crossing a meadow on a very rainy morning at Redwood Gate area of Redwood Regional Park. Near the intersection of Bridle Path/Stream Trail by Redwood Creek.

Very very cloudy day in mt. tam - was on Panoramic Trail almost immediately across from St. Jude where I live. I spotted about 30 feet in front of me, on the the trail, the back of a mountain lion. I only saw it for 1 to 2 seconds at most and only shoulders and back of the animal. I've seen a puma in Costa rica, I've seen bob cats, foxes, coyotes. It couldn't have been any of these, it wasn't a dog. I say that because even at the distance of 30 feet, I could tell it had shoulders about as broad as mine, about a 3 foot torso. I didn't see the head, nor tail, but I'm confident it was a mountain lion as there are no other animals that size here. And I saw the color of it, which was a yellowish brown. I think it may not have been full grown, maybe a juvenile.

I was finishing up my ride along Nimitz Way, heading for the parking lot at 8:45 AM. A large animal ran across the path heading downhill. About 4 feet in length. Dark color. Round head. Big feet/paws. Not a dog or a coyote - Too 'tubular' looking. 6-8 inch tail that was like a thick, bush rope. The animal ran off downhill into the canyon. Think it was an immature mountain lion

In a residential area. Heard what I assume was a dog Attack 45 minutes earlier. Cannot confirm the relation. I was on my porch. Animal was across the street in an abandoned lot camouflaged into the grass. Noticed the yellow eyes first and then saw the rest of the body.

A huge tan color mountain lion ran across traffic lanes on Highway 92xCrystal Springs Reservoir directly in front of me as I was heading Westbound at 8:10pm 3/14/18.

We are very disturbed when we see this. I pray that a safe path, or area can be provided somehow for them. It breaks my heart knowing that we're doing this to them.

Cat came up to back of house encountered our dogs sleeping in their pen. Jumped up on fence by tree and stayed there for 40 minutes. San Mateo county Sharif called and came out and after 15 minutes of prompting cat departed into front yard. Lived here for 25 years with only brief sightings. More cats and/or bolder cats now.

2018 03 06, 5:30am, pre-dawn darkness. Hiking with a head lamp from 4-Corners down the road to Muir Woods, I first saw a deer's eyes (then the deer) on the downhill side of the road. Turning uphill, my light caught two smaller glowing eyes, closer together, on the uphill ridge next to the road. I kept my eyes/light locked on it as I kept walking. As I passed, in the dim light I saw the rounded outline of its ear. Did not seem to o big, so I'm guessing juvenile. Pretty clear it was stalking the deer on the downhill side of the road. And, I walked right between them.

A cougar walked on the wildlife trail alongside our vineyard fence. This is the 7th sighting since Dec 16th.

Two of my neighbor's sheep have been killed over a period of 4 days. Sonoma County Animal Control confirmed they were killed by a mountain lion after examimg the carcasses. Another neighbor 1 mile away caught the mountain lion on its nighttime webcam 4 days ago. This past October (before the fires), another neighbor's dog was attacked by a mountain lion, confirmed by the vet after measuring the bite marks.

The cougar was walking on a wildlife trail the animals have created just outside our vineyard fence. He was startled (possibly by dogs barking in the house) and this is seen on a 10-second video. This is the 6th visit since Christmas.
