Puma & Bobcat Sightings Map
While many people are confident they've seen a puma, not all of these sightings are accurate. The map below includes both confirmed and unverified puma sightings in the larger San Francisco Bay region (and beyond) since 2004.
Over time, this will help us evaluate problem areas, movement barriers for wildlife, and potential for human-puma conflict.

animal walked down the slope of my property and turned down the road when it heard me outside. Size of a large bobcat with full tale. 100% certain. Lots of prey in the area (deer, turkeys). There may have been a kill at the back of the property a few weeks ago. Have a recording of something screaming in the night (4am) and the following few days the stench of a carcass + 4 large turkey vultures.
