Intern

Interns typically have more responsibility and commit to more hours over a period of at least 6 months. Volunteer hours are more flexible; at least a few hours per month is required as commitment.

Field Work

(including camera work every 4 weeks in study areas around the Bay Area; uploading camera trap images to our cloud-based database)

Field work takes place in and around various protected areas in the San Francisco Bay Area. Some are more remote than others but they are usually not accessible by public transit. As such, public transportation cannot be relied upon for the majority of these places and access to a vehicle is needed.

* Are you able to drive to different locations in the Bay Area for field work?

Yes

Data Entry

(Remote camera data cataloging- requires internet connection, minimum of 2 hours/week on your own schedule)

* Do you have a reliable internet connection?

* Can you commit to regularly helping us with annotating camera trap images?
