Intern

For internships, we typically require 6 months to 1 year. We recommend a commitment of approximately 15–20 hours per week, ideally spread across 3–4 hours a day, five days a week — but the schedule can be flexible based on what works best for you. You’ll receive a link to track your hours. You must submit any documents necessary when onboarding. Paperwork will be completed, signed, and returned once you've completed your internship.

Volunteer hours are more flexible and require no paperwork; at least a few hours per month is required as commitment.

Field Work

Field work takes place in and around various protected areas in the San Francisco Bay Area. Some are more remote than others but they are usually not accessible by public transit. As such, public transportation cannot be relied upon for the majority of these places and access to a vehicle is needed.

* Are you able to drive to different locations in the Bay Area for field work?

(Remote camera data cataloging- requires internet connection, minimum of 2 hours/week on your own schedule)
